As it was in 1933, Blarney Castle Oil and Propane is a Michigan-based, family-owned business. With more than 95 EZ Mart convenience store locations, propane and fuel oil service, commercial fuel and bulk lubricant sales, our primary goal is satisfying our customers.
Starting Wage: $8.00 per hour. There will be two pay increases in the first year and annually thereafter.
Requires no prior experience but must possess basic math skills and the aptitude to learn all required job duties. Must be able to figure correct change during transactions. Must present a positive attitude, a neat and clean appearance, excellent customer service skills and work well with others in a team oriented environment.
Requires physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds; moving and stacking merchandise; cleaning; sweeping; shoveling snow; and being able to stoop, bend, and stand for extended periods of time.
A high school diploma or GED required.

Receives payment for customer purchases . Operates equipment to record sales; checks in vendors; stock shelves, coolers, and freezers; prepares food; cleans interior and exterior of store; monitors customers during the dispensing of fuel. Verifies amounts to reconcile and balances cash register transactions. This position represents the first impression our customers have of Blarney Castle Oil Co. and our employees have the primary responsibility to provide excellent customer service in a friendly, pleasant, and efficient manner.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
